About the speaker:

Elizabeth Gregory director of the Women's Studies Program and professor of English at the University of Houston, writes about the changing dynamics of motherhood and women's work. Her book Ready: Why Women Are Embracing the New Later Motherhood was a ground-breaking study of the range of effects of birth control and education on women's business and family roles in the US to date. Her current research project, Domestic Product, continues that analysis.
